Fließendes Wasser, rauchloses Feuer
Kooperation mit Johanna Stella Rogalla

In  Zusammenarbeit zwischen Johanna Stella Rogalla und Teresa Linhard entstanden diese Skulpturen. Ausgangspunkt waren komplexe von Rogalla konstruierte Gewebe. Durch die verschiedenen Lagen des Mehrfachgewebes entstehen Moiréeffekte und Einsichten in die Schnittestellen des Textils. Davon Ausgehend entwickelte Teresa Linhard Skulpturen aus Metall und verschiedenen Materialien.

„Der Dialog als Ausgangspunkt, fließend wie Wasser die Worte zwischen uns. Ich halte deine Gewebe in den Händen und denke an unsere gemeinsame Zeit in der Wüste. Ich muss oft  an das Farbenspiel in der Wüste denken,
Johanna, als sich mit jeder Minute des Sonnenuntergangs die Farbe in der roten Landschaft veränderte. Von Rot zu Blau. An die Weite des Blicks. Deine Gewebe erinnern mich an die Farbigkeit dieser Stadt. An die flimmernde Hitze und an die Pfefferbäume am Wegesrand. Hier glaube ich an die Geschichte über versteckte Wesen, die aus rauchlosem Feuer entstehen.“

These sculptures were created in cooperation between Johanna Stella Rogalla and Teresa Linhard. The starting point were complex fabrics constructed by Rogalla. The different layers of the multiple weave create moiré effects and insights into the intersections of the textile. Based on this, Teresa Linhard developed sculptures made of metal and various materials.

"The dialogue as departure, the words between us flowing like water. I look at your fabrics in my hands and remember our time together in the desert. I often have to think of the interplay of colours in the desert, Johanna, when with every minute of sunset the colours in the red landscape changed. From red to blue. About the vastness of the view.
Your fabrics remind me of the colours of this city. Of the shimmering heat and the pepper trees along the way. Here I believe in the story about hidden beings that emerge from smokeless fire."
